The contestants must go on qrz.com and look up their own callsign as many times as possible before they get wrist ache (from using the mouse of course ;-). The one with the highest number of lookups is the winner. Current high score holder: G0MJY with 4037 lookups. Runner up: G0MPR (4036)
The "Wind Up David" game
Just start a debate about HF versus VHF, 10 metres, Foundation Licences, Police, democracy, Big Brother, 3 minute timeouts...
The "Worked All Foreign Repeaters" award
Download the latest worldwide Echolink repeater list, then dial up each one in turn and try to get a contact, whatever the language. The award cannot be granted until at least one contact is made on every repeater, and UK repeaters must not be included.
Radio Roulette
With the volume at maximum, the players take turns to use the "random connect" commands on GB3KD to connect to links, conferences or repeaters. If there is silence on the other end of the link, the player gets another go. But if the link is active, the player's brains are blown out and he loses the game.
Drive Time Drivel
Players must refrain from using the repeater during working hours, to ensure that it is quiet. Then as rush hour starts, they must strike up a boring net with as many timeouts as possible, to prevent any mobiles from using the system. The net must cease upon the stroke of 18:30.
