Please note that the September 2007 KRG meeting, which was to be the AGM, has been postponed to Tuesday October 16th. There is no meeting in September!
The minutes of some of the KRG meetings are now on line, via the "meetings" menu item above. The missing minutes will be added in due course.
Don't forget that you can find the latest news about our 2m repeater on the GB3KD site. The rogues gallery has been partially reinstated, but there are very few pictures as yet. We urgently need pictures of these rogues, so if you've got any digital pics (or gossip) of yourself or your fellow hams, please email them to charlottebronte[at]blueyonder.co.uk. "Not The KD News" will be reinstated as time allows.
The KIDDER and GB7PZT sites are still awaiting a major overhaul and reinstatement.
After a year's absence, the FOURPAK site is back online, but there's still a lot of updating to be done.
All KRG members are invited to the group's AGM on the 18th September 2006. There are committee posts up for grabs if you fancy getting more involved! Non-members are also welcome, as we hope to get the formal AGM business over quickly. If there's time, we hope to have a short talk on something topical.
The recent BBS malfunctions have been traced to a combination of an over-inflated guest book and an oddity in Microsoft's RAM drive. The guest book has been heavily spammed over the last few months by spambots. It has now been removed, and reliability is restored.
There having been no objections from WyrePak or KRG members, at an Extraordinary General Meeting held on 18th January 2005, WyrePak and Kidderminster Repeater Group were merged to form a single organisation. The new group would better reflect the diverse interests of the WyrePak members, and would support Packet Radio, VOIP gateways and the GB3KD repeater.
